Guest guest Posted May 8, 2004 Report Share Posted May 8, 2004 Jay Maa I had a dream which I can not understand at all , tried all psychological approaches but no solution maybe someone has some insight , I would greatly appreciate it . I went for Ammachi Public Darshan , now instead of Amma I saw some lady with short blond hair sitting as if it was Amma she was giving huggs to people , when I approached that lady She seemed to change her appearence to dark curly hair , but still She did not look like Amma . I asked Her are You Amma She sad Yes I am Amma , somehow I did not belive her and asked her ok but are You Amma Amritandamayie , She sad yes I am Amritandamayie . I thik I asked her once more if She where Amma Amritnadamayi and She continued telling me that is her . The frustrating thing was that I really wanted to see Ammachi's form as we know Her , and somehow this other form did not convince me at all that this was indeed Ammachi and I left dissapointed . PS I am also not a big beliver in worshiping just a form ofcourse I belive Ammachi to be Divne Mother , but I never thought of the Form rather the formless worship so I am a bit confused by this dream . Another member of our list once told me that when Amma appears in a dream, it's because She wants to be there. So I think Amma did indeed appear in your dream and that She's trying to tell you something. Swami Amritaswarupananda said it is good to reflect deeply when Amma tells us something we don't understand right away. Eventually the meaning will come to you, by Amma's grace. Best not to rush the process. It is a blessing. Joanna, the dream seems to be giving the message that you have to go beyond Amma's form; and accept Her omnipresence, so everybody you come across is part of Amma (an attitutde that all of us would do well to adopt). Guest guest Posted May 9, 2004 Report Share Posted May 9, 2004 Kenna , Childofdevi Yes Yes Yes Thank you all for the wonderfull response , I think the answer is to see Amma in All , today I had the strangest experinece while going to the grocery store , I saw an Indian Lady all dressed up in while , the resemblence to Amma was quite astonishing and there I was thinking could it be Amma ? and then even while looking at other people I started to ask myself that question are some of the people I see Possibly Amma in disquise . Thank you all once again for the help . I will be seeing Amma in NYC soon , and hope to ask Her for Mantra hopefully this will happen I am going to go with my two children so hope this will be not to much , I saw Amma last year with my daughter and we had beautifull experience this year my new born will be joining us . Since she is a Mahatma, we can see God within Amma.
