Guest guest
MEDITATE WHILE YOU WORK : A NEW PATH FOR A NEW AGE (16) Swami Ashokananda (continued) But there will still remain hours and hours of the day in which one has nothing to do. Of course, if he or she is earning a living, or has to do many other kinds of duties at home or outside the home, the time is full. But then the problem would be how to transmute secular duties or activities into something spiritual. In your own life, if you calculate, you will find that you are dedicating only a fraction of the day to spirituality. The remainder is dedicated to worldliness, and how can you expect to gain in true spiritual knowledge if you dedicate only a portion of your day to it and the rest of the day to the world ? You are a devotee of the world and you will continue as such. (to be continued)
