Guest guest
Dear Amma's Beloved Children, I want to share the best news of my life with You. Amma has answered my prayers of the last few years though I didnt ask Her directly, She asked me to earnt he reununciate fee and then come to India. I am feeling Her grace so much more now that She answered my prayer and She is giving me lots of work to make this earning happen easily and quickly. I feel as if I have been swimming way out in the ocean with no sight of land and was starting to get tired, praying for a direction and a voice from land said, "HERE I AM" and suddenly land was visible and Amma was sitting on the top arms extended to receive me just as a parent would when they are first teaching a child to swim alone. Though I still have to swim through the rest of my worldly vasanas to get to Her abode, I feel Her shakti motivating me from within all along, helping me to swim.... And already this monkey mind is trying to know exactly how many miles are left across the ocean of my own samsara.I know how much the renunciate fee is but I am wondering if anyone of you knows anything about becoming a renunciate- like do you need to have separate money on the side for traveling with Mother, for personal hygiene, basic clothes and necessiities or does Mother take care of the basics and does traveling with Her become as unneccessary once you are in Her abode just as getting a hug becomes less important as doing seva once you have had hundreds and hundreds of Her delicious Divine tranfusions of Immortal Love. Please let me know if you know who to contact even about such insignificant logistics. Thank you At Amma's Blue Ocean Feet, Ambujam Photos: High-quality 4x6 digital prints for 25¢
Guest guest
My pranaams to you Sister!! It is the rare soul that wants to take up renunciation. IT is the rarer soul that is accepted for renunciation by Amma:-). I believe that all expenses will be taken care of once you become a renunciate (though kindly check with one of the swamis eg Dayamrita Chaitanya). Though it seems outrageous that one must pay to be a renunciant (who is pretty much dedicating his/her whole life), it is a safety mechanism - many people want to be renunciant because of monetary/personal problems; to dissuade such people a token fee is required. Does it vary from person to person, and what exactly is the fee cost? Namah Shivaya, Lisa
