Aloha Amma's Own Children,

 

I am becoming more and more clear about my heart's truest desire and this is to

travel with Amma. Though I have traveled with her for a few months here and

there, I was sad to leave because I ran out of money. I felt that since She is

Laksmi Devi Herself She would help me find a way to continue with Her but it did

not turn out that way. Now I can see it was partly due to my being drawn towards

the world for other latent desires. but now that I have exhausted many of those

with HER ceaseless support, I am ready to re-dedicate myself fully to being in

Her presence. I have been here in Maui since HEr birthday working to save money

to be with Her but one thing after another has happened where I have had to

spend money and it has been like spinning my samsaric wheels in the mud of my

ignorance. The idea recently came that mybe there are some kinds of grant

foundations that would support an individual to volunteer in Amma's profound

mission. I spoke with a woman who is a volunteer-grant

writer and she said that it is definitely a possible thing and that I just need

to get really clear about what my objectives are within it- the tangible aspects

of my seva and also really be able to show how Amma's mission is satisfying the

goals of some of these different grant foundations. She explained it like this:

For example, there are some that would focus on medial-aid for the impoverished

in third world countries and since AMma has Her state-of the-art hospital AIMS

in India and since Her International tours are partly fund-raisers for this and

Her other humanitarian projects in India, a grant foundation may give me a

salary to volunteer on tour full-time and give the rest of the grant directly to

AIMS.

 

SO, now I am looking for these grant foundations. If anyone has any ideas about

where to look, how to clarify some silly little atom's place in AMma's vast

mission on paper for a grant foundation or any wisdom about any steps in this

process, please let me know. If this is really possible as she said it was, this

could help many of Amma's children be where they really want to be.

 

What this woman, Laura told me was that the most important thing was to realize

that it was possible and put ALL of my energy toward it. She has not met Amma

yet but it was definitely Amma lifting up my sad lost heart back to the center

of original focus.
