Guest guest
Namaste All, If this is a silly question (or series of questions!), please forgive. Have had a quiet day alone in my yard today and thoughts have dirfted where they will; some, tho, have reminded me of the mudras Amma performed last year in Fairfield. Music was playing and She seemed to not be personally 'present' in Her body. Her arms seemed to move of their own volition and, while I can't explain the movement of Her left arm, the right arm bent so that the elbow was nearly level with the shoulder and the index finger peformed a 'come here' flicking above Her head. It looked as tho She were calling someone/something to Her. My question: Does anyone know what that particular mudra means? I know mudras are suppsoed to speak the language of the heart, not the mind, but are some mudras, like that one, understood only by the communicator and the communicatee? (if that's a word!). Thanks in advance for any clarification of this. At Mother's Lotus Feet, Dixie
Guest guest
Dear Dixie, I'm not sure that this is a mudra at all. I know exactly what you are talking about, though! I love that movement that Mother makes. It's exactly as if she is summoning someone! It is not like any mudra I have ever seen. I personally think that it is a movement unique to Her. I hope you had a nice day in your garden.
