Guest guest Posted April 2, 2004 Report Share Posted April 2, 2004 Every so often, I'm reminded that the times when I feel least motivated to do spiritual practice are the times that I need it most. Due to a variety of circumstances, I had an intensely emotionally challenging day today...and I was tempted to shelve today's meditation, because I was just feeling so emotionally fried that I didn't feel up to it. But, having made the commitment to this daily IAM practice...I did it anyway...and I feel *so* much better, grounded, more centered, peaceful. I'm still feeling a little sad, to be honest, but I'm not feeling so overcome or stressed by what's going on around me.
