Participate in your child's education

 

Children's mental maturity will depend on the training given by

grown-ups. The parents and elders at home should pay attention to

matters connected with the education of children. Those who are

educated should help the children with their lessons as much as

possible. Don't leave the entire responsibility to the teachers. If

there are children in the neighborhood going to school with your own

children, you can invite them also and teach them together. That is

what good neighbors should be doing.

 

Never should one find pleasure in the failure of the child in the

neighboring house and desire the success of the highest grade only

for one's own.
