Coinciding with the first anniversary of Brahmasthana Prathishtapana Varshikotsava, Amma is here for three days. Today she inaugurated the two medical service centres that would soon come up in Kasavanahalli and Ullal and medical kits for the same were handed over to Dr Nanjundeshwara. On the occasion, around 27 families were handed over possession certificates for the houses that will be constructed as a part of Amrita Kendralaya. These certificates were given to physically challenged persons and to many belonging to the lower economic sections of the society. A souvenir - Amrita 2004 was also released. “Ninety per cent of the people suffer from various problems. They keep thinking of what gains they can make. Another problem is the ruptured family relationship. People must not strain themselves about these petty issues,” said Amma addressing the mammoth crowd. On behalf of the judicial fraternity, Karnataka High Court Justice S R Nayak announced that free legal advice would be provided for poor people.
