Guest guest
Namaste to all.... _/\_ I had yet another dream of Amma last night. Well, it wasn't exactly Amma, but it was "around" her... I was in a hall, waiting in line for darshan. I saw lots of my sisters and brothers all over, some who I have actually met in the flesh (like Kenna). All of the people that I have met were standing behind the tables and trying to find skirts, bracelets, and rings that would fit me. None of them fit and I was getting frustrated because of it. Finally, I found a very long green skirt with a drawstring made of shell beads that fit and it was lovely. Second, I found an almond-shaped bracelet made of copper that fit (and Kenna put it on me, actually!), and finally I was looking for a ring. The entire basket was rings that were made of shells. They were not like the shell rings we buy in tourist junk shops; rahter they were as if the middle of a shall was cut out, and we were to wear that on our finger. I didn't find a ring that fit, but I had to run, because it was my turn for darshan. I am stumped as to what this means!! Any ideas? With love, Niseema

One possible explanation is this: All the dress and ring search was a way of killing time till the CALL (turn for darshan) came. When that happened, nothing mattered, you just "had to run". Amazing that you are getting so many dreams around Amma, and that you actually remember them! Jai Ma!
Guest guest
Namaste Erica, This is really a shot in the dark but I think that it also has something to do with identity again...Perhaps you need to look into your life and find out what it is that you are not connecting with in waking life.. Are you not going the way you would like to go in your waking life? Are you frustrated because you don't feel that you are becoming the person that you want to be... ?? To me this is what I see in the dream...and this is only what I see..You have to go with what feelings you had in the dream and what these objects mean to you.. To me our brothers and sisters are adorning you with clothes and jewelry.. and the "shells" could symbolize that you are "pulling into your shell" ..closed off emotionally...Perhaps you are not growing spiritually due to non-activity? Is this how you feel in waking life? Are you feeling frustrated that things are not fitting in waking life? The ring makes me think of a circle, wholeness, completeness, no beginning and no end, completing a cycle or grown into a wholeness of body, mind and spirit. Sense you did not find your "ring of truth" I interpret this to mean a circle as in a merry-go-round...you are not getting life's lessons you are "going in circles" so to speak..But you are running towards your goal... your darshan... to Amma... in the end. This is just a few of my thoughts... they don't really mean anything.. and I agree with the one of our sisters who wrote that some of our dreams are meaningless... but I think that we know and feel the ones that stand out..and they stand out for a reason... they are trying to tell us something.. My dreams are very important to me... I hold them sacred... they guide me. I hope some of this might help you. Good Luck Dear Sister!
