Guest guest
I have not taken the course yet (I will next month!), but I know that you had to sign some kind of legal confidentiality agreement. I'm wondering if it is okay to have a public group in which these matters are discussed. I know you caution others not to join unless they've taken the training, but practically, it seems that anyone can join? Perhaps you could set it up so that you'll approve new members who can somehow demonstrate to you that they've taken the IAM course? Guest guest
Om Namah Shivaya, That's a good point, Iswari. Also, it seems like if people have questions, they should ask a qualified instructor rather than another new initiate into the technique. Did the instructor simply say not to talk about it to people who haven't taken it, or not to talk about it at all with other people? Actually, before starting a group on IAM, someone should probably email San Ramon and ask what they think about it. With such an important practice given to us individually by Amma, under an agreement of confidentiality, someone should get approval before starting an IAM discussion board. Well, but who am I to suggest that? I've only been involved with the Amma community for a year. But when I'm at my Yoga class trying to get into a posture, I don't ask the person struggling next to me if they think I'm doing it correctly, I ask the instructor who demonstrated it. Guest guest
ONS Because of what we promised Amma when we took the IAM course, I also believe that someone should check with San Ramon before starting such a group. Please do this before beginning such an endeavor so that it not be just our egos involved here. Anumati <anumati_devi wrote:Om Namah Shivaya, That's a good point, Iswari. Guest guest
Dear Shiva Bhakta, Peter White/Kandar, our moderator, asked permission from Amma before he began this cyber-satsang and you should ask Amma for Her blessing likewise for any "discussion forum" of IAM.
