Amma Dancing

Namah Shivaya Fortunate Ones,

 

Do any A-Listers have any stories about seeing Amma dance.

 

I had the privilege at the Los Angeles Retreat of 2002.

 

My situation was less than optimal. I felt a cold coming on a few days before I

was to fly to LA from Oakland. I fought it off somewhat valiantly but the bug

started coming on strong the first night of the Retreat.

 

During the preceding Amma Retreat in San Ramon I kept hearing about how devotees

handle being sick around Amma. Was this a foreshadow?

 

After doing Seva feeling kibosh ed I went to bed praying that I could get a

reprieve. Saturday (Day Two) I woke up full tilt under. I was weak congested

dizzy etc.

 

After Amma gave the morning darshan the Swami's suddenly stood to the right of

Her with instruments at the ready. Amma danced in a circle completely around

the large rectangular ball room. A devotee next to me said to his friend, Amma

is circling the room out of Her compassionate desire that everyone gets a good

view.

 

I was standing on the stage. I began to dance. Well, lets call this another

strange phenomenon. It felt like Amma and I were dancing one on one. This

despite her being over 50 yards away. The cold was there but I was in a zone.

One of my dreams during meditation was to dance with Amma one on one. This

request was granted yet being sick put a slight damper on things. Very Slight.

 

Any Amma dancing shares out in Amma Cyper Space?
