Guest guest
Namaskar to all... _/\_ Oh, I so miss my online family in Amma! I have been so stressed out and stretched thin lately, which would be the best time for sadhana. However, I (of course, since I am human...hee) have been pulling back from everyone and everything -- including our Amma. I'm not sure why I have this reaction, but I do, and so it goes. I am posting here a prayer, as my way of sending it off into the wind to Amma. ******************************** My Dearest Amma, Please forgive this child. I know not what I do. I haven't been participating in any form of sadhana, and I still haven't gone to my local satsangh on Saturdays. I am afraid, Amma. Afraid of this unknown future and the possibilities. I was feeling so blessed when I got this new job, and now I feel...lost. My focus has changed. I have started to become hungry for the extra money that commission would bring, and have been working long hours to try and get that. I feel as if money would change our situation so drastically, but... why? It's only money. Amma, please do not forsake this child of yours, even if I seem to have turned my cheek from your gaze. Humbly, Niseema
Guest guest
Niseema, thank you for putting words to emotions and thoughts many of us (everybody?) struggle with in this Kali Yuga. Tonight my prayers are for you and others, like my friend Pesha and Snehalata's daughter Jennifer, who are also having larger than normal job/money/life related internal/external funk! I pray we all reach the higher part of our Selves that can help us overcome and transend these problems.. may troubles that worry us today roll off of us like water rolls off and never soaks the swan's feathers.
