Guest guest
Namah Shivaya, In the past I remember some of Amma's children at this site saying how they would love it if our beloved Amma would give them clear and specific instructions on how to perform their sadhana. I just completed the IAM course and wanted to let those who have not yet taken it know that it offers Amma's exact instructions on how to perform our sadhana. This child offers my humble thanks to Amma, to my Divine Mother, to my Guru. Jai Ma! Omana
Guest guest
Dear Omana, Could you please tell a little more? I understand now that the "training" takes three days. What do you do all day? In my experience, most Amma devotees are not seasoned meditators, so it's hard to imagine a group meditation for eight hours a day for three days. I assume there's some instruction, but it still seems like it could be done in less than three days. Could you please share whatever you feel comfortable sharing about what goes on at these meetings? Three days is a big time committment. Guest guest
Namah Shivaya Jyotsna, Sorry that it took me so long to respond. I just wanted to add that I am not a "seasoned meditator", but found the time committment involved in IAM very doable. I had lots of doubts about my readiness for this gift from Amma, but through Her divine grace the barriers in my mind have just been fading away. As others have already noted the time is broken up nicely during the program and does not amount to 3 days of non-stop meditation. There is ample opportunity for gaining clarity through questions and answers, and lots of practice time offered. I can only speak for myself when I say that this feels like a giant helping hand being given to me by my beloved Amma, and I know that my gratitude grows each day. Jai Ma!
