Guest guest
Om Namah Shivaya! I am wondering if anyone knows how much it costs to travel with Amma on the North India Tour (I am trying to organize my finances before I leave). I apologize for using this forum to ask questions related to personal issues. Please feel free to contact me privately via email at khd5 With love in Amma, Kirsten
Guest guest
Dear Kirsten, I'm not sure what it costs now. Five or so years ago it was $700 for the regular bus. A friend of mine takes the "luxury" bus and it (a couple of years ago) was $1100. She took this bus because she is not a skinny little thing, and some of the buses have narrow seats for two, with a metal bracket on the outside of the seat, ensuring that no one can "hang over". She did not want to make either herself or someone else uncomfortable by taking up more than half a seat. Of course, even then Amma found a way to "torture" her. Amma decided in Pune that there were too many buses on the tour and send two of the five back to Amritapuri, so the people on the other two buses could only continue on the tour if they crowded onto the other buses. What was the "prime" bus for crowding onto? Why, the luxury bus, of course! So even though she had paid all this extra money, it was still crowded and cramped--and seemingly in violation of all ashram protocal--she had brahmachariis sitting all around her. So it goes with Amma... Laughing all the way, Jyotsna --- khd5 wrote: > Om Namah Shivaya! > > I am wondering if anyone knows how much it costs to > travel with Amma on the North India Tour (I am > trying to organize my finances before I leave). So packing them into a bus with a bunch of women would break a few boundaries.
