Guest guest
Om Namah Shivaya, This is just for a light-hearted touch for our holiday good cheer: I had never read anything by Deepak Chopra and, failing to find anything at my local library with which I could celebrate the beginning of my two-week break from my munchkins at school, I brought home Chopra's new book and began readig last night. Didn't encounter anything totally new, but ended the evening's reading with a discourse on the wave/ocean analogy and a reminder to see all things and all people as the Absolute Consciousness trying on different roles, much like actors in a play. My subconscious had a field day with this... I have one young man in class who throws unbelievable fits and drives the rest of us crazy with his temper ("No, I WON"T take my seat until he shuts his frickin' mouth!"). Last night, I dreamed that I DID see God in this hot-headed, foul mouthed child while he was throwing an Olympic gold-medal winning fit. My dreaming response? Instead of the usual frustration, I actually got a horrific case of the giggles over how good God was at portraying an enraged, hormone-addled, newly minted teen! I even commented to myself in the dream (I still don't know how that happens!) that, if I didn't know better, I'd think there really was a kid standing there! Still smiling and ever at Mother's lotus feet, Snehalata
