Guest guest
Hari OM! OM Amriteswariye Namaha! Blessed One, The correct amount of heat, from the Sun, the Air, The Water, the Rain, the Snow??? everything is controlled by which intellegent force or consicousness. Ask the non-beleiver if they beleive themsevles, if they beleive, then they definitely beleive in GOD, only thing they do not beleive in the form We all beleive. Every thing we say natural What is natural tell me please.... nothing is natural that is why Lord Jesus Christ said "THY WILL BE DONE" not mine. That is why whenever we pray, ... Mama Upattha, Duritha kshaya dwara... That Duritha Kshayam has to take place, other wise they are not wise. For the Duritha Kshayam to take palce, Amma's Blessing is requried. And they(non Believer) says he want to see what form is GOD then only he can believe, that is utter foolishess because to say that itself, the energy is given because of GOD's presence in him. Even the GOD only makes him say "There is no GOD" what a strange Phenomenon Think of it. Atheist can you show me the AIR, (You can feel only) Can You show me the Space Can You? (in form). Can you make for yourself at least one spot of sand yourself, with out the help of any thing which is created by GOD???? Hey Fool including you are GOD, You cannot understand GOD You can only "Stand under Him". You can't even claim what is in your house, You need to know everything that exists in your house to say that. And to claim that nothing exists in this universe.... think of it (You should know everything to say that) is it not utter foolishness. Atheism is totally illogical. At the most you can say perhaps "I don't know" what exists. An Atheist never accepts his ignorance. As soon as he accepts his ignorance atheism falls flat on the ground. You need not be a believer, but at least you can say the beautiful "I don't know". You cannot be an Atheist and being intelligent, atheism takes away the intelligence in you . All that you can say is the beautiful "I don't know". Rishis never compelled everyone to be a believer, Rishis never impose anything to anybody that you have to believe in GOD. Previously in Prahlada's time there was Powerful Hiranya Kashipu the King (father of Prahlad) nowadays most of the people says there is no God means what, their ego has gone to their chromosomal level is it not?? Amma says, if you inhale, what is the guarantee that you exhale. That guarantee is the blessings from HER. Think.... One who says that GOD does not exists (it is impossible to make any sense out of it)To know that he should know at least who is saying that??? At least he should believe in himself, try to know who is saying "I don't believe in anything." You don't even know that, at least know that please... if you can know that, you are realized and it is the Greatest Meditation. Sri Shankaracharya Said, Bhaja Govindam, Bhaja Govindam, Govindam Bhaja Moodamate! This Moodamate is for all of Atheist. For all of us ...Sadhakas, a slight change in the path will make our directions hay way... LIke a car going on 80miles speed a slight deflection can make us away from our discipline and our Sadhana. May Amma Bless us all always, for our well being, unconditional love (even at least we can try) and continous Sadhana without any Weekends (usually people get Weakned during Weekends!) Guest guest
- Krishna Prasad Ammachi Friday, December 19, 2003 11:45 PM Re: Struggle for Faith(to all non-beleivers) Hari OM! OM Amriteswariye Namaha! Namaste, Dear Krisha, Wow! I think I have missed some posts: would someone backtrack for me to fill me in on the thread about atheism and nonbelievers? I have apparently missed it entirely. Krishna, please let me add what Amma says in "From Amma's Heart" about some of these issues. First, tho, let me paraphrase what Paramahansa Yogananada says that seems to be the perfect thought on this (the undeniable existance of The Absolute): If there were no Higher Power/God/Divine Mother/Whatever.. we should be able to take a place a corpse in sunlight, water it, and feed it proper human food to reantimate it..which we obviously cannot do because the "spark" is not contained within this realm. "from the ultimate point of view, God with a form is an illusion. However, it depends on the depth of your inner experience... Questioner: "So you are saying that the different forms of the Gods and Goddesses are just projections of the imnd?" Amma: "Ultimately they are. Whatever will perish is not real. Even those of the Gods and Goddesses, have a beginning and end. Questioner: "If even the forms of the Gods and Goddesses are unreal, what is the point of building temples and worshiping them?" Amma: "No, you do not understand the point. You cannot discard the Gods and Goddesses just like that. To teach people who are still identified with the mind, and who have not yet reached the highest state, these forms certainly are real and are very much needed for their spiritual growth....." Amma: "The form will take you to the formless, provided you do your spiritual practices with the right attitude. Saguna (form" is nirguna (formless) manifested." I'm not sure why that seemed important but it did -and although I am definitely a believer, I am not a believer in the Form per se. Clarify, please, if I am wrong, but it seems to hit my memory that Christ became "God-realized" very late in His life, and Amma became God-realized at about the age of 22. No don't get my wrong: Mother's form enchants me and being in Her physical presence is in a realm apart from any other experience I have had, BUT I want the "Real Mother" (Amma's terminology) - the One whose love is endless and whose power to shift my perceptions and my world brings me to my knees in sheer awe and abject humility. For the Duritha Kshayam to take palce, Amma's Blessing is requried. I think so,too: grace is the final key to the door. Amma's comment on this: "Self-realization is the path to your own Self. So, it is as simple as turning on a light switch. However, you should know which switch to press and how, because this switch is hidden inside yourself. You cannot find it anywhere outside. That is why you need the help of a Divine Master." Atheism is totally illogical. Again, a quote from "From Amma's Heart": Questioner: "Amma, what is your opinion about atheists?" Amma: It doesn't matter if one believes in Gor or not as long as he or she properly serves society." ...discussion about intellectual exercises follows here, with Amma stating atheism is based on logic, and logic cannot be used to prove or disprove God's existance (my paraphrase).... Questioner: "So, Amma, what You are saying is that their views about God are incorrect, aren't you?" Amma" "Whether it is their view or someone else's, views about God are bound to be incorrect, because God cannot be viewed from a certain angle. God will appear only when all views disappear." May Amma Bless us all always, for our well being, unconditional love (even at least we can try) and continous Sadhana without any Weekends (usually people get Weakned during Weekends!) Amen. Thank you for such a lovely chance to think on these things more closely. Love, your sister in Amma, Snehalata riteswariye Namaha! OM Nama Shivaya! With Love & OM!
