Guest guest
Namaha Shivaya, If you don't mind doing so, please ask Mother to hold my daughter, Jennifer, particularly close to Her hear right now and to guide the outcome to Jennie's situation according to Her will. Jennifer is a PhD immunologist with an outstanding career history despite having just turned 30 (not bragging folks, just giving you the bare bones facts). She was heavily recruited upon getting her degree and decided to work where she is now because the work she was doing and the work her "boss" was doing dovetailed so perfectly and and because he had been so adamant about her being important to his lab. Since then, he has challenged her ruthlessly and older investigators in the lab insist she is being "done in" (criticized, challenged, publicly embarassed, etc) by him because she could be such a competitor for him when her post doc is finished; she has no idea what has caused this, but has completely and totally lost her confidence and her faith in her own ability. After talking with her (via phone; she is far from home) last night, there is little doubt that she is very nearly at a total emotional collapse. I don't know what's to think except that my daughter is, for the first time in her life, falling apart - I'm praying to Mother, too, but asking only that She hold Jennie close and guide the outcome to Her will. At this point, I could not begin to guess whether I could have prayed for things to get better between Jennifer and her boss, for a job change, or for my daughter to hit emotional bottom and gain the time and space to heal before even attempting to continue. Please, ask Amma to guide this according to Her will - it's going to take stronger hands than ours alone to hold on through this one. Thank you all, Snehalata
Guest guest
- ammasiswari Ammachi Wednesday, December 31, 2003 10:39 PM Prayer Request Namaste, Iswari, I will certainly make a plea for healing energy on your brother's behalf and will ask Mother to hold you, tightly, too. My daughter is in the same situation and I know what the pain is like for all involved. I just keep reminding myself that such times frequently bring about great growth, but one must get through them intact first. With love, your sister, Snehalata Aum Amriteswaryai Namah, I hope you are all having a happy new year. I would like to ask anyone who reads this to please pray for or send healing energy toward my brother, who is suffering tremendously right now through a very deep depression, and such hopelessness that I fear he is hanging on by a thread. I am very afraid for him, especially since he recently had a falling-out with the one friend in whom he could confide about things like this. He is very lonely and isolated right now. I am having a very hard time dealing with the fact that there is only so much I can do to help him. Thank you, Iswari Aum Amriteswarayai Namaha! Links Ammachi/ b.. Ammachi c..
