Guest guest
Jai Ma! Sometimes, when I'm listening to bhajans on CD, I hear Amma in the background and I stop in my tracks... Sometimes it's Her voice, sometimes it's the devotional singing of the swamis that does it (like in Durge Durge). I've been unmotivated all day, just sort of bumping around my house alone (with four cats, if that's alone!), and decided to unwrap and play the latest CD I bought - Tamil Bhajans Volume I. Half-way through the first song, I found myself very motivated, and started washing dishes that have been sitting there for days. Then Amma Amma Taye came on, a version I hadn't heard before. In the second half, it really gets going into such a devotional frenzy, and it happened again! Suddenly I heard Mother "Ma-ma-ma-ma-ma-ma-ma..." faster and faster until it hit me again - I had to stop what I was doing, and found myself prostrating to the speakers! Then started clapping and singing along, tears coming out of my eyes! I'm back to normal again, but feel so happy and light. Jai Ma! Jai Ma! Jai Ma!
