Guest guest
Last night, I dreamed that we were all waiting for Amma in some program hall for a very long time, maybe even a couple of hours (Niseema, you were with me!). Everyone was wondering what was taking so long, since Amma is usually quite punctual in her arrival. Since it didn't seem that she would be arriving imminently, I went to go take care of something...and I discovered the reason for the delay. Massive amounts of flowers were being petaled for arati, and Amma would arrive only when everything was ready. There was a whole corridor lined with huge bags full of flower petals! =) Iswari
Guest guest
What a wonderful dream Iswari! It brought me back to the ecstacy of awaiting Amma's arrival! Speaking of dreams, I had one recently in which Amma was standing behind a counter handing out tickets of some kind (smiling sweetly as She did so). She handed me a ticket that had the number "9" on it (still not sure what the number 9 means). I understood that Her giving me this ticket represented a decision on Her part related to my life, but I was not at all clear what the decision was. It wasn't until you mentioned your own Amma dream that I realized that it may have something to do with my radically changing my plans at the last minute and deciding to buy a ticket to Amritapuri instead of moving to Asia to pursue a career teaching English (all of which happened just a few weeks after this dream!) Guest guest
Thanks to everyone for helping me with my dream interpretation:) I thought the number 9 would have a negative connotation considering what an awful devotee I've been! I was sooo excited to learn about Lakshmi moving to Amritapuri! I had been feeling quite heartbroken about leaving my dog to move there when I read this leela....hearing about Amma's interactions with the elephants is deeply fulfilling, much more so than my own interactions with my dog. She is so merciful! Kirsten
