Does anyone have an exact translation of the "Shakti Ta Jagadambe" prayer

(especially the last line...what language is that?) that follows arati? Thanks

very much!

Namah sivaya, Iswari.

I think I understand the first three lines, but I have no idea about the last

line.

This is from the Hindi bhajan "Ma Jagadambe"

(Bhajanamritam IV, page 101-102)

Mujhe prem do jagadambe

bhakti do jagadambe

visvas dekar meri

raksha karo jagadambe.

In the Bhajanamritam, it's translated as "O Divine

Mother, give me pure love. O Divine Mother, give me

devotion. O Divine Mother, protect me by giving me

perfect faith".

Keval

(on the 23rd anniversary of John Lennon's

assassination.. dec. 8, 1980)
