Guest guest
Namah Shivaya. Last gem for now cuz have to return this book to the generous sister who loaned it to me. Q. Amma, is God male or female? Amma: God is neither he nor she. God is beyond such limited definitions. Got is ³It² or ³that.² But if you need to define God as either he or she, she is better, because she contains he. Q. This answer may irritate men, for it puts women on a higher pedestal. Amma: Neither men nor women should be placed on a higher pedestal, as God has given both of them an adorable place of their own. Men and women were not made to compete with one another but to complete each other¹s lives. Q. What do You mean by ³complete²? Amma: It means to support one another and to journey toward perfection together. Q. Amma, don¹t You think many men feel superior to women? Amma: Whether it is feeling, ³I am superior² or ³I am inferior,² both are products of the ego. If men feel, ³We are superior to women,² it only shows their over-inflated ego, which certainly is a major weakness and is destructive as well. In a similar manner, if women think that they are inferior to men, it simple means, ³We are inferior now, whereas we want to be superior.² What else can this be but ego? Both are inappropriate and unhealthy attitudes that will increase the gap between men and women. If we don¹t bridge the gulf by giving due respect and love to both men and women, the future of humanity will only grow darker. Chose to send this following the unique alignment of Jupiter, Moon, Kiron, Saturn, Mars and Sun which knowledgeable people said formed a perfect Star of David during the eclipse last night. One way of viewing that is that the upward pointing triangle represents the masculine and the downward pointing one represents the feminine. Thus the star can be viewed as a symbol of the balance of the 2. Yogaman just referred to the Freemason tradition to which I relate this information. > The founding fathers of the United States were great mystics in the > Freemason tradition which has some strong links with yogis of India, > they clearly knew what they were talking about. Some of this has come up on one of the lists before. Had an interesting conversation at Amma¹s Birthday Celebration with a woman from NYC who was eager to learn more about the Black Madonna, which also figures in here. Apparently there is a novel called The De Vinci Code which is raising some interest in all this. The birth of the US > was guided by some great Himalayan Masters(I will add more on this > later if anyone is interested) and perhaps I may add that the US has > a big role in unfolding the destiny of the planet. Which is why great > masters from India have been repeatedly coming over to the United > states even before the great Swami Vivekananda. Yes. Please tell us more!
