Guest guest
Today I have seen Matrix Revolutions. It is much better than the Matrix Reloaded. The film is clearly influenced by Advaita. First of all, there is a desi(Indian) family in the movie. A Couple and their daughter, wife's name is Kamala and she is a computer programmer (I don't think it is coincidence, since majority of Indians are programmers). Second Neo asks the Indian Guy if he belives in 'Karma'. Then there is a discussion on 'karma'. Third, the biggest one, when the movie concludes as the titles comes up and the back ground music is famous upanishadic verse: "Asatoma Sadgamaya Tamsoma Jyotirgamaya Mrityorma Amritangamaya" which means " O Brahman Take me from untruth to Truth, from ignorance to enlightment, from death to Immortality. Besides these the film is too philosophical, there are several scences defenetly echoing maya (illusion) and atman, purusha and prakrithi. Do watch this movie, besides philosophy, action scences are too good.
