Guest guest
Regarding the ungrateful devotee who so egotistically inquired: "It is really annoying to see a delay of two to three days for all my posts to appear on the newsgroup. Is the newsgroup moderator on some kind of ego trip. If he is maybe it is time to tell Amma or start another newsgroup." two thoughts come to mind, 1) you try moderating a group this size and see what happens - and 2) perhaps the wonderful people who perform the function of moderating this wonderful chat group HAVE A LIFE! Guest guest
I told a friend of mine about this current topic of conversation and he had a good point - this isn't a democracy, it's an email group moderated by the person who created it who can do whatever s/he wishes. Personally, I'm thankful for the group moderation. I have moderated a group before, not quite this size, and it was a lot of work. I think our moderator takes his job seriously, and part of that job is to make sure we stick to the topic, else why have one. --- Omenka Supriti Nnadi <oomenka wrote: > Regarding the ungrateful devotee who so > egotistically inquired: "It is really annoying to > see a delay of two to three days for all my posts to > appear on the newsgroup. This is life. It means going to bed at night early so you can get up in the morning early. It means studying the scriptures before you go to bed so that you can go into the inner planes in absolute control. It means in the morning chanting the Lalita Sahasranamam to prepare yourself to face the day, to be a strong person and move the forces of the world. Sometimes I wonder if Amma says to herself after hugging 30 million people "I have GOT to get a life" --- I doubt it. I, on my part, enjoyed sacrificing the time I would have spent at a ball game or watching a movie. I did research on the Lalita Sahasranamam so I could share it with others on the list. If I helped even one person on this list in his sadhana, it was time very well spelt. So thank YOU, Manoj. May God Bless you! Mark.
