As I transition back to "normal" after a week with

Amma in NYC, greater Boston, and Smithfield, RI...

I thought the Devi bhava in New York ran late (ended

at about 9 AM), but Rhode Island beat that by well

over an hour!

I hope not too many RI retreat attendees were deterred

from checking their e-mail by the "No M.A. Centre

allowed" signs at the entrance to the Bryant College

library. I had no problems getting in, and I don't

think anyone would have had a problem as long as they

weren't wearing their whites or a sari, and could

therefore pass as a Bryant student.

One of the highlights was hearing a French version of

Ishwar Tumhi Dayakaro, sung by the Ottawa or Montreal

satsang. Scroll down to read it.

Jai Ma!

Keval

Oû donc irais-je me réfugier,

Tu ne peux pas m’abandonner.

was that it was Amma who was doing the "call" part

of the song from her darshan peetham during the

Sat. a.m. darshan. The Quebecois were called up to

stand near her and did the "response" part of the

song. It was so sweet to hear Amma sing in French!

My roomate was right beside Amma (she was in the

question line at that particular moment), and she

said that a woman was holding the "French" version

in Malayalam script for Amma to read as she sang.

It was wonderful!

In Amma,

Jyotsna

yes --- it was really beautiful. it was beyond

expression. i was right in front of amma and kept

thinking how mothers shakti was vibrating through the

womans body who was held by mother throughout the

entire bhajan!!! it must have been a 5 minute darshan.

.. . however, the woman was sooo off (on!!!) when she

walked off. i asked her, if she was ok, but she looked

right through me and walked away like a duck on

ecstasy . . .

jai ma :-)
