Guest guest
Greetings to all - thanks for all the Amma stories and wonderful comments. Reading stuff from everyone is very uplifting for me and I feel even more a part of Amma when I see how everyone is feeling and thinking. Well, since I begged for Amma stories awhile back, I am feeling like I have to share my Amma story too. I was blessed to see Amma in Chicago and New York. The Chicago program was great and since I wasn't in the host satsang, I got to spend more time in the hall with Amma and had a great time. Thanks to all the Chicago devotees for all the hard work - I had a lovely time. The biggest event in Chicago for me was the Guru Purnima puja. Oh my God!!!! I was so overwhelmed during that puja, I started crying at the beginning and cried all the way through it. I wasn't sad crying just happy holy crying. The beauty of all the people there and the fact that all these years having done puja's to Amma's slippers and then to have her actually there during a puja was so BIG in my heart and so sweet. Afterwards I felt really charged with energy and at the same time in a zone of peace and calmness. The drive home from Chicago was tough because I don't sleep much when Amma is around and I had not slept for many hours. And, that morning of Devi Bhava in Chicago there was the most intense thunderstorm (shortlived and wild). (It reminded me of a time when I first left Seattle and moved to Michigan - the second day in Michigan there was an intense storm and I had never seen such a thing - I sat all night with my eyes as wide as plates in the window watching with fear - and then I thought how far I had come since that time and how much fear has left me.) I followed the storm home and tried to regroup for work on Tuesday afternoon. Is there a limit on the size of postings? I have a lot more to say, please advise. ===== Om Namashivaya - In Amma's service, Supriti Omenka Nnadi
Guest guest
Dear Supriti, No limit that I know of(the size of the archive on most groups is 32 MB, that probably would be limiting factor:-)) But if you could post it in parts, that would be useful in keeping us going during those lean days, where there is not much to read(just a suggestion). Aum Namasivaya yogaman ps. is the first time you have been to New York?? I have a feeling that we have met bfore Ammachi, Omenka Supriti Nnadi <oomenka> wrote: > Greetings to all - thanks for all the Amma stories and
