I came home yesterday night from a retreat which was held in Perugia (Italy). There were 45 of us plus one Indian Brahmachari and two westeners renunciants. It began Friday night at 7:30 p.m. with a public program (some more people) and ended yesterday afternoon with quite a full program: silent meditation sessions, Archana, Devi Puja and Paduka Puja, Bhajans, Seva, Satsang, Questions and Answers, Japa, spiritual exercises.... I feel my heart burning for Happiness, Bliss, Sorrow (differences home-retreat), Longing (Amma). It is difficult to put in words which feelings, emotions come up, what happened, to explain the atmosphere. It was a real Blessing and a big fortune to have this retreat on Guru Purnima day. Amma was seen by a friend of mine and some of us saw the picture moving and tridimensional. But even without these signs the atmosphere was so full of Love that you could tell "yes, She's here!". I would suggest to go to such reatreats whenever you have the occasion. Amma sent Her Brahmachari and I think in this way She came with, not in Her body-form. I wish all of you can have such experiences one day and thouth of you during the retreat, hope at least someone can feel a bit of Joy more. I wikk do a retrreat whwnever I have the opportunity.
