Guest guest
<<That's funny because this summer, when ever I recieved darshan, Amma would whisper "mo,mo,mo,mo" in my ear, which I believe means son, but then She would also whisper something that sounded like daughter in my ear also:~) I'm thinking it's another word for son. When I go see Amma in Michigan next week I'm going to ask one of the Swamis what it means. In Amma's Love Jon <<Om Amriteswaryai Namaha>> As far as I've ever seen, Jon, she generally wispers Ma Ma Ma Ma, because it's Ammammammamma..(all run together, sounding like ma ma ma) it's the name of the divine mother, which you'll here her start doing spontaneously during bhajans. I don't think it's a word for son. As for the other word you're hearing, who knows! It's hard to tell, because with our untrained western ears, we have a difficult time distinguishing whether she's chanting in English, Sanskrit, or Malayalam! Actually I know they drink the milk, but not sure how they get oil, since it does require some effort. I do not know if people make their own or if some conglomerate processes it for them. Any of our Indian posters know? someone must for sure!
Guest guest
There are many companies in India that process and sell coconut oil. You are right about Indians drinking the coconut milk; it's delicious! --- sprose1 wrote: > In a message dated 11/6/02 8:20:47 AM Eastern Standard Time, > Ammachi writes: > > > > They use coconut oil, for God's sake, man!!!!!Fresh from the > > > coconut!!!Do you think they use Parkay? > > > > I wasn't sure.
