Guest guest
Namaste! and pranams to my brothers and sisters in Amma... I haven't posted here in quite some time. I'm Michael from Massachusetts and I used to post from mjf2001. Our Beloved Amma, in Her infinite Grace and Compassion, gave this child a name at Her Boston program last month.... it was the last thing She did from Her darshan seat before the end of the morning program. I was last in line for a name... and She had just told the person ahead of me, "no more names today", and as that child moved away from the line, She looked right into my eyes and pointed Her finger right at me (WOW! Did I feel that!) and said right at me, "Satyadev! Satyadev!", then looked over to Her swami, still pointing at me, "Satyadev!" I looked at Swami and he said, "Your name is Satyadev. It means "God of Truth"." I looked back to Amma and the seat was empty, She was leaving the hall! This child thanks Amma again and again for the great Graces that have been bestowed upon me by Her. I had to discontinue my subscriptions to a few lists due to volume and time constraints in my life at that time. It is a great joy to be here again with you! Now, a question: At Her Devi Bhava in Rhode Island, as I was about to receive Her darshan, the hall was amazingly quiet. There was a break in the music as one of the satsang groups was getting ready to begin singing for Her... it was just the whirr of the electric fans.... a magic moment ripe with anticipation. Then, just as I was approaching the stage, this satsang group (and I don't know which one) began a beautiful song which was not a traditional bhajan, but a contemporary American pop song that was sooo beautiful and so fitting. I really want to find out what the song was, so that I can find it somewhere. It was playing as I received my darshan, and it was perfect as the lyrics talked about "a mother and son" and being "in Mother's arms"... it had a slow beat and was a song that I know I have heard before, probably on the radio. They played it at about 4:15 a.m. Does anyone have a clue what this song might be? I would be ever so grateful. Wishing you all a beautiful day basking in the glow of Amma's Divine Love, I remain At Her Feet, satyadev HotJobs - Search Thousands of New Jobs http://www.hotjobs.com

I wonder if it was one of the songs from the new volume (#7) of English bhajans "Help me Amma" -- not to be confused with the Beach Boys' "Help me Rhonda" Thanks for sharing your story of receiving your new name. It was great to re-connect with you (and your Amma doll!!) in RI.
