Guest guest
Saturday at the MA Center in Castro Valler/San Ramon, there was another Amma doll story. A lady who had been sitting near me and who is dealing with her dad's final illness went upstairs. There she saw Tripti, the woman who manages the kitchen at the ashram and when Mother comes. Tripti was sewing a tiny Amma doll. She sewed on the eyes and the mouth. She sewed on the earrings and the nose ring and sewed on the hair. The lady was so overjoyed at how loveable -- more and more loveable at every step, was this little Amma doll that Tripti gave it to her. While we were visitting about news regarding her dad, both of us were exclaiming how enchanting was this tiny, tiny Amma doll. She wrapped and rewrapped the tiny little sari so carefully hemmed. Thus this very small sewing project lifted our hearts even though we were talking about heart rending things. Aikya
