Guest guest
Namaste ji, Great words. By a glance anyone would think that what are we talking about, how can one be here and also present another place. Well understanding the true nature of self is the greatest thing as the Self is transcendental. It lies beyond our senses, beyond the world as we experience it to be. There the Self is motionless, for ever at ease in its eternal tranquillity and blissfulness. It's like an unmoving and unmovable foundation. It has all conceivable qualities and all conceivable powers in it. It's like a gigantic volcano at rest, full of energy, full of life. Because of one eminent quality, creativity, one of the most beautiful aspects of the Self, it starts to create, ie. it starts to move. Then motion comes in. With motion the immanent world starts with its time, space and its cause and effect, which are all aspects of motion. So by creativity the Self gets a dual aspect: it is by now both motionless and in motion. But it remains the One. Motion and motionless are but aspects of its nature. There is only one Self. Without the Self, never could life exist. Because the Self is the life in all things. SHE is within all, and SHE transcends all. God is not only transcendental. It lives in everything alive. It's the sum of your life. You are It. That's the reason why WE are so blissful and perfect in your most inner being. Thank you very much ji. Guest guest
Namaste ji,Great words. Great seers they were ..........By a glance anyone would think that what are we talking about, how can one be here and also present another place. Yes it was written in such a way to grab the reader’s attention so they will think how could it be here and there . The point is it was everywhere that is why we used the word pervasiveness It lies beyond our senses, beyond the world as we experience it to be Well good interpretation but the understanding should be that just because it was beyond that does not mean it is not here as well. That means it is not only beyond senses but also within senses. The word transcendental should not only be understood as beyond but also within that is why we use the word pervasiveness.(actually the word transcendental is much more appropriate to the next verse) There the Self is motionless, forever at ease in its eternal tranquility and blissfulness. Correct but it is both motion and motionless that is why it is referred to as “It outstrips (in motion) all that runs being as it is steady (motionless) always “ It's like an unmoving and unmovable foundation. There right word should be unmoving foundation that is movable . Those volcano that is going to erupt is a good analogy. It has all conceivable qualities and all conceivable powers in it This interpretation cannot be deduced by verses above yet perhaps your knowledge of later verses are helping to have these perception already Because of one eminent quality, creativity, one of the most beautiful aspects of the Self, it starts to create, ie. it starts to move. Then motion comes in. With motion the immanent world starts with its time, space and its cause and effect, which are all aspects of motion Well put but we have not been able grasps the meaning of what they mean by motion or mutation (immutable) from this verse again your understanding is based not from these verses but form other rightful knowledge as well Motion and motionless are but aspects of its nature. Yes this is the right interpretation for the statement that “It outstrips (in motion) all that runs being as it is steady (motionless) always” There is only one Self. Without the Self, never could life exist. Because the Self is the life in all things. Well you are right however instead of using the word life( the opposites is dead)you can say nothing could manifest into forms without the source of all manifestation is that.SHE is within all, and SHE transcends all. Now you have already defined She ( with certain form) is That(Atman) . The conclusion is not drawn yet in these verses but only after another 2 more verses . Until now it is only referred to as that or Atman . Well if you have understood the verse above than the conclusion should ideally be ; The Self is All !!! God is not only transcendental. It lives in everything alive. It's the sum of your life.. Good conclusion however these is not the conclusion of these verse yet You are It. That's the reason why WE are so blissful and perfect in your most inner being Again I like the conclusion drawn but there is no linkage between the atman (Paratman) and you (jivataman) in verses we have discussed yet. Furthermore the understanding or experience that we are blissful and perfect in our most inner being could not be concluded until we have come to experience as well Thank you very much ji. I am happy your putting yout thinking cap on when we are discussion the aloft principle of upanishad Well done !!!Jai Maa!!STOP MORE SPAM with the new MSN 8 and get 2 months FREE*
