Guest guest
Namaste, Thank you SO much for your post. I am a Vaisnava with a special devotion for the Divine Mother. I have a strong attraction to Radharani and Kali Ma. Kali Ma is the Ishta-Devata (the deity of predilection) of this age, Kali-Yuga. Most of the time, Vaisnavas do not understand Devi's position. She is Mahamaya and incarnated Herself as the sister of Krishna (Kamsa wanted to kill all the babies of Devaki. Even when he saw the little baby girl, he threw it against the wall but She took Her Durga-Form and cursed him). I see Her as a form of Radharani. Kali Ma eats dirt, She takes away our fears/offenses/... and give it as to us as prasad, as blessings in our sadhana. Yes, Vaisnavas are affraid of Bhavatarini Ma. Maybe they fear Her purificative Shakti. She surely will have a small altar in my home. Is there any connection between Kali (or the Divine Mother in general) and Tulasi Devi? I have a Rama-Tulasi at home and love to take care of Her. Jai Ma! Radhe Radhe!
