Guest guest
The path of the Vedas is not meant for the Kaliyuga. The path of Tantra is efficacious. --Ramakrishna Sri Ramakrishna set himself to the task of practising the disciplines of Tantra; and at the bidding of the Divine Mother Herself he accepted the Brahmani as his guru. He performed profound and delicate ceremonies in the Panchavati and under the bel-tree at the northern end of the temple compound. He practiced all the disciplines of the sixty-four principal Tantra books, and it took him no more than three days to achieve the result promised in any one of them. --Nikhilananda Ramakrishna's interpreters also have been very slow to acknowledge the radical nature of Ramakrishna's left-handed practices. --Kripal I would include you in that category, Mr. Chatterjee. While I understand that you may represent a particular mind-frame in hindu society, it is one which is rigidly moralistic to the point of repression, and utterly caught up in the hagiographies of its saints to the exclusion of the truth, in my opinion. We have your type over here. We call them born-again or fundamentalist christians. They're the ones primarily responsible for the mess that the world is in, at least with regards to the Middle East. It was our loving and protective Mother Kali who brought the wave that took so many off the planet. If it happened, She did it. Good or bad. --jody.
