Guest guest
It's been said that Siva is original hunter god. The crescent moon like horns, and his compliment, worn on the head, shakti as the nityas (waxing consciousness) I guess. - Scott Hutton Kali_Ma Monday, December 02, 2002 8:25 PM For Eve & Black Lotus Hm...I'm now wondering if this isn't the ancient Horned One modernized...which of course would equate to Siva except that the Davidic/Hindu Siva would be a much later expression...and should admit: I find the pre-language Horned One expressions of THAT far more moving than the more civilized ones....sTo from this group, send an email to:Kali_MaYour use of is subject to the
Guest guest
Oh yes indeed....and I think it's spot on to see him so...The Shiva that we revere today is a very late expression indeed...for private use I often make cyber images of Shiva using The Horned One for my Shiva. The Horned One transcends civilizations and chauvinistic societies and therefore, for me, carries much less baggage. You've read Danielou on all this? S (and Nandi bein' the rupa...I've thought this too but it's the sort of thought one sends out for double checking...thanks for the feedback) Kali_Ma, "Eve _69" <eve__69@h...> wrote: > It's been said that Siva is original hunter god.
