Guest guest Posted April 22, 2001 Report Share Posted April 22, 2001 Hello to Everyone, I understand that the Sikh tradition has an inclusive outlook on death and that they do not see this process as outside of life nor something that should be feared or rejected. How is this reflected in their funeral ceremonies? Has Yogi Bhajan ever outlined or recommended a particular tradition in regard to the burial ceremony? Maybe, I don't know. But the body is supposed to be cremeated. This is very important as the body must go back to the earth before the soul can be liberated.
