Guest guest Posted March 1, 2006 Report Share Posted March 1, 2006 Yagna for world peace NT Bureau Chennai, Mar 1: The 68th annual Veda parayanam and Maha Rudra homam for world peace was conducted by the Thiruvengadu Subramania Ganapatigal Veda Parayana Sabha at Sri Kanchi Sankara Mutt at Rameswaram between 10 to 20 February. A press release here said eminent vedic scholars, Agnihotri's and baghavatars participated in the yagna. Sri Krishna Premi Swamigal and Kamakshi Swamigal took part in the yagna and rendered spiritual discourses. On the concluding day, Vasoorthana Homam, Thampathi pooja and Go Dhanam were performed. Sabha secretary S Chandran honoured eminent vedic scholars on the occasion.
