A unique dance performance by Dr Mallika Sarabhai and her troupe promises to take the viewer through the endless journey of the development of science through the rise of human society. Titled Dance of Life, the performance will be held on January 8 for the delegates of the Indo-US Science Conference at National Chemical Laboratory and on January 9 at IUCAA auditorium. The performance happening at IUCAA is being hosted by Kirloskar Oil Engines and Thermax Limited and is open only by invitation to a guest of KOEL and Thermax. The performance starts from the age of Sri Chakra and birth of Vedic Mathematics and ends with the depiction of works by modern scientists like Jagadish Chandra Bose, Homi Bhabha and Vikram Sarabhai in the 20th century. This piece of art has been conceived and researched by Dr Swati Piramal and choreographed by Mrinalini Sarabhai, Mallika Sarabhai and D Padmakumar.
