Scholars from Uttar Pradesh, Nashik, Pune to get Ved-Vedang national

award

Nashik: Dr Omprakash Pandey of Lucknow (Uttar Pradesh), Dr Mohiniraj

Gangadhar Gaidhani of Nashik and Dattatray Pandurang Navathe of Pune

have been selected for the the 'Ved-Vedang' national awards for 2005.

 

According to released issued here, the three Vedic scholars will get a

cash award of Rs 21,000 and a certificate at a function to be held here

on January 24.

 

The awards are given by the Shriman Bastiramji Sarda Sadguru

Ganeshwaranandji Pratishthan to the people making valuable contribution

to vedic research.
