Ancient marble sculpture found in Binh Dinh

An ancient lotus shape marble sculpture was found in Kim Lam hamlet,

An Nhon district, Binh Dinh province on December 15.

The sculpture, which is 70cm in height, has three parts, including the

square pedestal, the surrounded with eight petals in bold reliefs

centre and the top part looking like a lotus bud.

According to experts, this is a tower top of Champa (Hindu) culture,

aged from the 11th - 14th century. The sculpture now is kept at Binh

Dinh museum.
