Guest guest
Singhal supports Hindu Govt in Nepal The Milli Gazette Online Kathmandu: The VHP leader, Ashok Singhal has justified the take over of power by the Nepal King Gyanendra saying it was necessary to check the terror unleashed by Maoists in the Kingdom. He criticised India's decision to stop military aid to Nepal after the February 1 takeover, while addressing a press conference here on February 26. He said that he welcomed the emergency imposed by the King and that all the Hindu community in India supported the move of the world's only Hindu king to save the Hindus of Nepal from the Maoist terror. Singhal added that Maoist insurgency in Nepal was an onslaught against Hinduism because the guerrillas were forcing thousands of Hindus to flee their homes and country. « http://www.milligazette.com/Archives/2005/01-15Apr05-Print- Edition/011504200579.htm
