Guest guest Posted December 9, 2005 Report Share Posted December 9, 2005 Karnataka Governor/CM offer worship of Lord Venkateswara Tirumala | December 09, 2005 7:51:17 PM IST Karnataka Governor T N Chathurvedi, Chief Minister Dharam Singh and Deputy Chief Minister (belonging to JD-U) M P Prakash today worshipped at the Lord Sri Venkateswara temple here. The Governor and Chief Minister, had darsan of the lord at around 1030 hrs, after arrival, while the Deputy Chief Minister, who arrived at Tirumala late last night, offered worship around 0930 hrs. On arrival at the temple entrance, the Governor and Chief Minister were received by TTD Executive Officer A P V N Sarma and Special Officer A V Dharma Reddy. They were presented with temple prasadam by officials, while priests and vedic pundits blessed them. Earlier, when the Deputy Chief Minister arrived at the temple entrance, he was received by the special officer. The dignitaries were at Tirumala to participate in the inauguration of Karnataka Bhavan, renovated at a cost of Rs 3.60 crore. Afterwards, the Chief Minister and Governor, who arrived at Renigunta Airport by special aircraft, left there at 1415 hrs.
