Guest guest
Maoist Terrorist Goal:To Place the Nepal Royal Army Under the Supervision of an International Body=THE UN. Long Term Goal is obviously to Mass Foreign Troops on India's Northern Borders and carry out a relentless campaign to Balkanize India into small manageable Countries. The 'Muslim Victims' in need of protection, as in Kosovo, are already in place. The need for a 'humanitarian' bombing campaign is quite probable as well. By controlling Nepal, India's greatest natural defense, the Himalayan barrier, will be nullified. If Nepal is put into the control of the UN=UMMA NATIONS, it will certainly be the greatest strategic threat to India in modern history. I hope someone in India is paying attention. Experts, leaders rap so-called pact By A Staff Reporter KATHMANDU, Dec. 6: Conflict experts and leaders of different political parties warned that the agreement between the seven parties and the Maoists to keep the national army under the supervision of an international body was an attempt to terminate the nation's existence. They concurred that it was a serious mistake of the seven political parties to put the group involved in terrorism at par with the national army. Speaking at a programme organised by the Reporters' Club Tuesday conflict expert Indrajeet Rai said, "The UN can only monitor the Royal Nepal Army, it cannot supervise it." He said that there was a clear-cut difference between supervision and monitoring. "When we talk about supervising the RNA, it also means controlling its movements, but monitoring implies that the international body is only going to act as a watchdog." Rai, an expert in military science warned that the agreement to keep the RNA under foreign supervision would lead the country to face the fate of Sikkim. He said that the UN cannot depute its troops in Nepal, until His Majesty's Government gives a green signal. Rai said that the unilateral cease-fire announced by the Maoist terrorists did not hold any meaning. "Until and unless the state authorities and the Maoists reach an agreement for a cease-fire, the one-sided cease-fire would fail to carry any meaning," he added. He said that the unilateral cease-fire could only be a ploy of the terrorists. He said that two separate rounds of peace talks in different timings had been rendered futile in the past, as the then rulers could not acknowledge the sensitivity of the RNA. Central member of the Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) Bhuwan Pathak said that the agreement between the seven political parties and the Maoists had given way to a new dimension in the conflict. Some points in the agreement lack clarity and have created further confusion among the general people, Pathak said. Accusing the seven political parties of upholding the agenda of the terrorists in the agreement, Pathak said, "The problems faced by the nation cannot be addressed by holding the elections to the constituent assembly." "The issue of the constituent assembly is very dangerous." He claimed that the Maoists had been successful in their strategy of rising to power through the 12-point agreement by pushing the constitutional forces into dispute. Pathak reiterated alliance between the seven political parties and His Majesty the King and said such a probability did exist. President of the Democratic National Youth Association, Gokarna Bista said that the Maoists should abandon their spree of violence and killing of innocent citizens. He called on the Maoists to join the political mainstream to find an amicable solution to the problems before the nation. Other speakers at the programme were Chandra Bhandari of the Nepali Congress, Tanka Rai of Nepal Communist Party (Marxist-Leninist) and Binod Kayastha of Tarun Dal. http://www.gorkhapatra.org.np/pageloader.php? file=2005/12/07/topstories/main7
