(PTI): Vedic hymns rent the air, along with the toll of bells and sounding of conch shells, as nearly two lakh devotees took holy dip today in the Pushkar lake, around 10 km from here, on the occasion of Kartik Poornima. The devotees wearing colourful traditional dresses thronged nearby temples, including the famous Brahma Mandir, They also distributed alms to the poor. Meanwhile, a festive mood prevailed at the venue of the Pushkar fair, with tourists, including a large number of foreign visitors, enjoying camel rides and folk music.
