Indian Christains petition Govt. Subsidy for Piligrimage

Kochi. A petition, seeking a direction to the Central government

 

to grant subsidy or concession to the christian community for

 

undertaking pilgrimage to Israel,Palestine and Vatican on the lines

 

of the subsidy being granted for Haj pilgrimage, was filed in the

 

Kerala High Court on 27th January 2005. Francis Albert, General

 

secretary of the Latin Catholic `Aikya Vedi'. It also sought a

 

direction to the Union and state governments to take immediate

 

steps to constitute a high power pilgrimage committee for the

 

christian community on the model of the Haj committee. According

 

to the petitioner, christians would have to spend at least Rs one lakh

 

for undertaking the pilgrimage to the Holy land and poor pilgrims

 

cannot afford it. 95% of the revenues of the government of

 

India are from Hindus and their businesses.

 

 

 

>From these, over Rs.60,000 crores per year are spent on the

 

welfare of the poor, tens of millions of Muslims, about 70 million

 

Christian Harijans and a few million Hindus among the weakest

 

sections by way of nutritious food for pregnant women, subsidised

 

food grains, kerosene, sugar; housing and house sites; free

 

education, and scholarships; grants to madrassas; Urdu Ghars,

 

Shaadikhans, Haj Houses, repair of churches (by diversion of Hindu

 

temples' funds), subsidy to the extent of Rs.2500 crores for

 

Muslims to go to Haj. In addition to all these, in the state of Andhra

 

Pradesh alone, the minority colleges make over Rs.300 crores

 

per year by selling engineering, BEd, MCA, MBA and Medical seats

 

to Hindu students. In other words,Hindus are feeding their predators

 

that is, those who are engaged in the decimation of Hindus by

 

conversion and furious proliferation within and infiltration from

outside.

 

 

 

If Muslims can be subsidized for their pilgrimage to Mecca,

 

Christians are naturally tempted to claim for subsidy for their

 

pilgrimage to Vatican and Jerusalem. If any Hindu asks for

 

subsidy for his pilgrimages to Varanasi, Somnath, Tirupati,

 

Manasarover, Kailash Yatra,Rameshwaram, Badrinath,

 

Amaranth, they are called Hindu communalists and fascists, even

 

as enemies of the people by communists. In fact, the Hindu

 

pilgrimage are taxed as for example in West Bengal, for making their

 

SAGARMELA yatra. Another wonderful thing is that Hindus have

 

to buy entrance tickets to their temples while Christians and

 

Muslims are even paid to attend the church and mosque and their

 

pilgrim centres. Is not `secularism'a multi-splendoured anti-Hindu

idea
