Guest guest
Hari Bolo Prabhus! Please accept my obeisances. All glories to Sri Guru & Sri Gauranga. Why are you using your World-Vedic Email distribution system to promote a hard core impersonality? According to the traditional Brahma-Madhva, Gaudia Sampradaya, this Sri Sri Ravi Shankara is not wise at all. He can therefore not share any wisdom with anyone because he is not promoting the highest truth as revealed by Lord Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu and specifically taught in the Bhagavad Gita. In fact Krishnadas Kaviraga confirms that teaching variations of the philosophy of Sankaracara.. is the worst thing someone can do and it is completely counterproductive to advancement in real spiritual life. "Sripada Sankaracaray has describes all the Vedic Literatures in terms of indirect meanings. One who hears such explanations is ruined." - Adi 7.109 "Sankaracarya, who is an incarnation of Lord Siva, is faultless because he is a servant carrying out the orders of the Lord. But those who follow his Mayavaid philosophy are doomed. They will lose all their advancement in spiritual knowledge." - Adi 7.114 "Srila Vyasadeva presented the Vedanta philosophy for the deliverance of conditioned souls, but if one hears the commentary of Sankaracaray everything is spoiled." - Madhya 6.169 Please be more discretionary in what you post and who you are promoting. Hoping this meets you in good spirits and enthusiastically engaged in the service of Lord Krishna. They are twosteps---like day and night. All opposite values in nature, they all dancetogether. It has been that way since the beginning. It'll continue 'til theend."Fear"Lack of understanding of life causes fear. People are afraid of love, people are afraid of meditation, people are afraid of death, people areafraid of themselves. Ignorance, lack of awareness, is cause of fear. Just aglimpse of the Being, of the Self that you are, that you are beyond death, roots out the fear totally."Our Very Nature"Enlightenment is not an achievement. Rather, getting rid of ignorance is anachievement, getting rid of all the stresses and tension. Because our verynature is enlightenment. That's why "human" and "Divine" are not two things."Human" is the outer skin and "Divine" is the inside."Finding Time for Meditation"The more pressed for time you are, the deeper the rest you must take, andthe more essential is meditation."Repose in Being"Repose in that peaceful, cool, calm, serene, depth of your Being. You know, this is something immensely valuable and precious." Guest guest
Dandavat Pranams Mayesvara Prabhuji First let me say all glories to the Sincere Vaishnavas of all denominations. I understand your points but Ravi Shankar and all the Shankarites are part of Vedic culture. There are many many many Vaishnava sites etc out there. This egroup is a vedic culture group and while I personally accept the Gaudiya Vaishnava conclusion as the Uttama-Siddhanta, a majority of the Vedic community currently does not. We need to encourage them to open their hearts to the Sankirtana Movement by sharing and debating in a friendly and vedic manner. As a Vedic group, it would be wrong for me to deny any vedic group a voice or ignore them. Also I have personally met Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, I admit it was only once, yet I never heard any mayavadism from him. In fact he led us in a 15 min kirtan singing 'Radha Ramana Haribol.' From my experiance he is a Brahmavadi. there is a big difference between Mayavad and Brahmavad. Also thank you for yr encouargaing message regarding my atheism post. My hope is that I can spread good news and truth in accordance with Srila Prabhupada as much as possible and thus please the devotees and the entire vedic community.
