Guest guest
I'm considering starting a 40 day discipline with the Maha Ganapati mantra "Aum shrim hrim klim glaum gam ganapataye vara varada sarva janamme vashamanaya svaha" Does anyne have any experience with this mantra? If so, what were the benefits for you? Mike
Guest guest
Namaste Mike, I have used this mantra a fair bit over the last few years. It is a very powerful mantra. Very powerful. The combination of bijas is very strong. What is brought forth for myself has differed at various times. IMHO opinion it is important to appreciate that sometimes what a mantra brings forth is not always "beneficial" from a normal linear perspective. It is perhaps only in a greater context of understanding that what is brought forward can be considered beneficial. So while on a physical level things might be far less than desirable, yet in terms of spiritual growth it is a great opportunity. I believe so much depends on "where" one is at and what karma is ready to bear fruit, as to what such mantras bring forth. Absolute universal and homogenous results from mantras (again IMHO), maybe especially bija mantras, don't seem to exist. The end "result" may eventually be the same, but the path the mantra takes you on to get there seems to vary from person to person depending on their individual factors and storehouse. I know this might not be the answer you were seeking, but such matters are too often over-simplified and the subtle complexities of them not considered. Hence my windy response! Hope it helps though, even just a little. Guest guest
Any Ganapti Mantra will work too, its how you say it, as in whats inside you when you do it.Consider this: Do you say it to look good in someones eye other than Lord Ganesha? or do you do it for the benefits you get? You cant even think what say Lord Vishnu will think as you are not invoking Him Aum. Summa Iru! Summa Iru!! Summa Iru!!! How low will we go? Check out Messenger’s low PC-to-Phone call rates. Anna Kaval
'vashamAnaja' or 'vashamAnAja' - could anyone tell the exact grammatical form of this word and the translation of the frase without bijas?
