Namaste Len!

I was intrigued by this posting. If I may ask, are you a Wiccan? If so,

may I also ask how you have included Lord Ganesha in your practice? I

have always read that it is difficult, if not impossible to combine

Eastern and Western practices successfully. I am very curious to know

how you have handled this. Thanks!

Yes, I am a Wiccan. I am also a Shakta (Hindu Goddess

worshipper). I discovered both paths at around the

same time, in the 1980's.

It IS difficult to combine both paths successfully, so

(by and large) I don't. My Wiccan practice and my

Hindu practice are pretty much separate. But my coven

likes to celebrate some of the Hindu holidays

(especially Ganesh Chaturthi, Navaratri, Shivaratri,

and Divali) with me.
