Guest guest
Namaste Beloved Neil & Friends, Off the top of my scattered head this now, maybe we should try the search engines for "The 64 Yoginis"? There is some relation or co- relation there, I think but may be wrong here Can't remember much of what was learnt. As Rajatyboy, Lenji and yourselves know very well, I have memory lapses from time to time (darned marbles in the head become loose and wouldn't click at the worst of times too). Much love Simone , "Neil " <Trikashaivism@o...> wrote: > > It says in Avalon's/Woodroffe's introduction that this 'Tantra has been > assigned to the group of sixty-four known as those of the Rathakranta'. > Rathakranta is seemingly a northern region, but where exactly I couldn't > say with confidence. The 64 I take it must mean the 64 Bhairava > Shastras. I believe there are 92 Agamas (the defining character of an > Agama is that Parvati/Devi asks Shiva questions, whereas this is > reversed in the Nigamas) - the 64 Bhairava Shastras (which are > non-dualistic), the 18 Rudra Shastras (which are non-dualistic cum > dualistic), and 10 Shiva Shastras (which are dualistic).
