• Ganesha YANTRA

• His yantra consists of a square, inside which is an eight

petals lotus, inside this is a hexagon and in the center an upward

facing triangle.

AUM Gung Ganapatayei Namah.

• Ganesh is the foremost God. He is worshipped first on all

auspicious occasions, whether it is a marriage or a religious

function. Ganeshji is also invoked and worshipped before any

festival, or a new project or venture that a Hindu undertakes. He is

the remover of all sankat (obstacles) and is an extremely benevolent

god, fulfilling the wishes of those whom pray to him sincerely.

• Ganesh is usually shown with four hands, each one has a

special symbolic object in it. One has an ankush (a goad), the

second has a trishul (a three-pronged weapon) or an axe made from

his broken tusk, the third has a lotus flower, and the fourth has a

rosary. Ganesh has many faces and many forms including a pose of him

dancing, a pose of him as a child and a young man.

• Vinayak: In this pose has the four arms in which he holds his

symbols. In this stance he sometimes holds a pot of modak (round

sweet) in one hand instead of the rosary, or holds it in his trunk

and retains the rosary.

• Herambeganapati: In this form he has five heads and ten

hands, three eyes in each face and rides on a lion. The extra eye in

each face is between the eyebrows, symbolic of the 'third eye' or

all Seeing Eye.

• Viranvighnesa: Here he exhibits a martial spirit with several

weapons held in his ten hands.

• Shaktiganapati: In this is shown with his 'Shakti' (strength)

or his consorts Riddhi and Siddhi (success and prosperity) or Buddhi

(knowledge) or even Lakshmi (wealth) sitting on his thigh. It is

largely believed that the worship of this aspect of Ganesha makes

one's wishes come true.

• Nattaganapati: A beautiful form, showing him in a graceful

dance pose; Ganesh is supposed to have taken this stance when the

Creator bowed to him and he was so happy that he started to dance

and thus earned the title of the master of the arts of music and

dance.

• Lakshmi, the consort of Vishnu (The Preserver of Human Life)

is always placed along with Ganeshji. Because we love Lakshmi

(wealth) and are ever worried about annoying her, to be on the safe

side we worship her along with Ganesh. Since she cannot precede him,

she sits next to him; she is never neglected. She is always placed

to the right of him as she is like a mother to him.

• His yantra consists of a square, inside which is an eight

petals lotus, inside this is a hexagon and in the center an upward

facing triangle. His mantra is AUM Ganapataye Namah.

• While his tantrik Gayatri is

Ekadantaya Vidmahe, Vakratundaya Dhimahi, Tanno Danti Prachodayat.

• His dhyana (meditation image is as having one tusk, four

arms, carrying noose and elephant goad, with the other two hands

bestowing boons and dispelling fear.

• His Vahana (vehicle) is a rat, while he has a big belly and

long winnowing ears.

• He is adorned with red flowers and various red scents. But

according to the Sharadatilaka tantra, he holds a noose, a goad, a

wine filled skull and his fourth hand touches his Shakti. She is

seated on his lap and she holds a lotus in her hand.

Heramba Ganapati

• OM GUM Ganapati NAMA.

• He is as bright as a thousand Suns and sits on a lion and

has five faces, each of a different color. He has eight arms.

Trailokyamohanakara Ganesh

• This name means the Ganesh who is the cause of delusion in

the three world. His yantra is similar to the above, except there is

no triangle in the center of the hexagon, which instead includes his

mantra, which is:

• VAKRA TUNDAYAI KLEEM KLEEM KLEEM GAM GANAPATE VARA VARADA

SARVAJANAM ME VASHA MANAYA SWAHA

• The mantra's meaning shows that this form of Ganesh is a

worshipped in specific rite (prayoga).

Siddhi vinayaka

• His mantra is:

OM NAMO Siddhi Vinayaka Sarva Karya Kartrai Sarva Vighna Prasha

Manaya Sarva Rajya Vashya Karanaya Sarvajan Asarva Stri Purusha

Karshanaya Shreem Om Swaha.

• As this mantra indicates, again this is a form of Ganesh

used in magical rites, in this case to obtain the siddhi of

subjugation over kings, men, women and the alleviation of all

obstacles.

Shakti vinayaka

• The mantra of this form of Ganesh:

AUM HREEM GREEM HREEM.

• Bhargava is the rishi of the mantra, virat is the metre for

pronouncing it, Grim (pronounced greem) is the bija, The dhyana is

Shakti Vinaya, four armed, carrying modaka, ankusha, and rosary.

The yantra is of the hexagonal form with the root mantra inscribed

in the center.

Lakshmi Vinayaka

• Again, the hexagon yantra is used, but with the mantra in

the center, which is

AUM SHREEM GUM SAUMYAYA GANAPATAYE VARAVARADA SARVAJANAM ME

VASHAMANAYA SWAHA.

• The application is the desired wish, which in this case

are Lakshmi, luck, good fortune, and money.

Haridra Ganesha

• The word haridra is the yellow powder turmeric. The mantra

of Ganesha:

• OM HUM GUM GLAUM

• And the yantra is similar to Lakshmi Vinayaka, with,

however, the appropriate mantra in the center. Here, Ganesha is

clothed all in yellow, has four arms, one of which touches his

trunk, while the others hold noose, goad, and modaka bowl. The

application is success in desires.

Shri Ganesh Yantra

• Before undertaking any new venture it is necessary to

perform a Ganesh Puja in order to ensure the successful completion

of the Kamaya. The swastika is the sign of Lord Ganesh. The Yantra

is composed of six triangles, which are closed on all sides, with a

central triangle and a "Bindu" inside.

• The Beej Mantra are Gam Glaum

• This Mantra is to be recited when purifying the Yantra of

Ganesh. After Attaining the Shiddhi of the Yantra the person will be

blessed with his desires . The yantra must be worshipped for the

period of 30 days and the chanting of 1,000 Mantras a day.

Flowers, honey, milk and coconuts should be placed as offerings.

May all benefit from the above with the blessings of lord Ganesh.

Yours
