Ohm:

There is a special worship for Ganapathi called, thithi Ganapathi worship

procedure is due to Sri Agasthiar. There is a ganapathi for everyday for e.g

today The thithi at this instant is Pournami. The Ganapathi for this thithi is

Niruttha Ganapathi who is pictured here.

Recite the name Niruttha Ganapathi while worshipping any Ganapathi form during

Pournami thithi. This Siddha method of Ganapathi worship was revealed to

Sathguru Venkataraman by his divine teacher Sri Idiyaapa Eesa Siddha. The

thithi Ganapathi pictures that are featured on this page were drawn according

to Sathguru Venkataraman's specifications.

Start your day by visiting this page (

http://www.agasthiar.org/arunapics/g/tgana.cgi ) and worshipping Sri Ganapathi

in accordance with the Siddha way. It's a great way to start each and every day.

Ohm,

Regards,

Rama

RE: Chaturthi for November

Try this web site for the dates:

http://www.siddhivinayak.org/IDvinayaki.asp

They say it is the 31st as does the Ganesh Temple, Flushing, calendar.

Chaturthi for November

Namaste,Im confused:( ok in the book dancing with siva by Satguru Sivaya

Subramuniyaswami it states that Ganesha's monthly holy day is Chaturthi , the

4th tithi after the new moon. it also states this in the book loving ganesha by

the same author. well according to the moon calander that day falls on tues the

16th of November. but according to a Hindu fast calander

http://hinduism.about.com/library/weekly/extra/bl-fasts.htm and a few other

places on the web it says chaturthi for november is on tues the 30th which is

definatley not the 4th tithi after the new moon because i have a phases of the

moon document for 2004 and the new moon for november is the 12th. so can anyone

please help clear up my confusion with this I would greatly appreciate it. Aum
