Significance of Ganapati

Has anyone heard of the relationship between Ganapati and Hanuman? The

elephant-god and the monkey-god are both tricksters, one a symbol of

divine cleverness and the other a symbol of divine strength.

Some argue that Ganapati is present at every beginning, and Hanuman

present at every ending.

I gather that there is an Ardha-Ganapati, Ardha-Hanuman deity, worshipped

somewhere in India. Any further info available?
